"As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace." I Peter 4:10
Adventist Community Services
Adventist Community Services (ACS) is the official community outreach ministry of the Adventist church in North American Division territories which comprises North America, Guam / Micronesia and Bermuda. ACS serves the whole person - a concept known as holistic ministry - whose mission is to “serve the community in Christ’s name”.
This ministry encompasses weekly preparation and distribution of Sabbath morning bulletins. These provide the congregation with information about that morning's service, announcements, upcoming events, contact information, etc.
Members of our congregation stand ready to greet every person who comes through our doors Sabbath mornings. They are there to provide you with that morning's bulletin, in addition to answering any questions you may have.
It is our prayer to become a center for health, healing and wholeness in the community where people may increase their health awareness, learn to incorporate standards for healthful living, and find restoration in Christ for a hurting body, mind, or soul.
This ministry is designed to galvanize the energy and resources of men for God, family, church and community
Hans Christian Andersen once said, "Where words fail, music speaks." Our music ministry is aimed to provide beautiful, meditative moments from individuals who feel impressed to share their God-given talents with the rest of the congregation (e.g,. Sabbath morning 'Praise Team', special music, etc.).
Our congregation is fortunate to have a team of dedicated, tech-savvy individuals who work tirelessly to provide audio, video, multi- and social-media footprints in our community and abroad. Our weekly Sabbath morning Worship services are live-streamed via Facebook, and then stored on this site and Facebook. It is our intent to reach as many people as possible - not only those seated in our pews each Sabbath morning, but those who may be listening or watching our services from the comfort of their own homes.
Our Potluck Ministries team arranges a visitor's luncheon every Sabbath following the morning's Worship service. While the luncheon is targeted toward visitors, all are welcomed to stay and partake of a healthy meal. Then, on the 3rd Sabbath of every month, a large potluck is planned and provided to everyone interested in attending. Please join in so we can get acquainted!
Often time, there are individuals who are hurting - emotionally and/or physically - but are unable to fellowship with us in our House of Worship. That is when our visitation ministry kicks in. Anyone needing encouragement, comfort or a sense of belonging can profit by a simple gesture of visiting with them wherever they may be.
This ministry is aimed to model Jesus Christ through meaningful relationships and effective ministries by (a) providing opportunities to deepen our faith, and to experience spiritual growth and renewal; (b) address the concerns of women; mentor young women, teens and girls; etc.
We strive to create a youth ministries presence in every church by providing practical resources, training, and mentoring opportunities to youth leaders and their youth
